Baby Gates

Poor pups. Baby gates means that they no longer have full freedom of the house. If we're not paying attention, then the pups get trapped on the stairs. But Loki doesn't mind, does he? He likes to lounge on the stairs. And will only complain if he's missing out on food or treats.

I tried opening the gate for him. But he didn't care. He didn't budge. He makes it seem like, he's not trapped. He freely chose to lounge right there.

My old Shiba used to jump clear of the baby gates. So maybe that's why Loki feels like it's his choice to be there.

Probably the majority of adults with children live in homes with more than one level. Also, many houses that are being built today are of a townhouse design and have three floors. It is therefore a necessity to get at least one or more safety gates for babies and young children to prevent a nasty accident should your children accidentally fall near or on the stairs. However, as an adult, we still need easy access to the stairs as well as keeping our children safe.
