Well, we still don't know what was wrong with Juju, but she seems to be okay now. She ate dinner just fine, and is otherwise, acting normal.
Of course we want her to be perfectly fine, and if we had to do it all over again, we'd still take her to the vet, but in retrospect all that money spent at the vet seems to be such a waste.

You guys did the right thing. Vomiting and diarrhea are symptoms that could be any number of things, some of them no big deal, but others are very big deals indeed.

Wow, that is scary, though. I think I would have done the same thing. It could be nothing or it could be something serious. You just can't tell without a vet sometimes.
Do you have pet insurance?
@Sandy -- No, we do not have pet insurance. I actually do not think that pet insurance is worthwhile at all. It is much better to self-insure, that is, to just save up money each month for your own pet expenses.
I hope Juju is ok we haven't heard from you in a while.
