I gave Loki a new piece of rawhide the other day. He took it and whined softly. Then paced around the room with the rawhide in his mouth. He went into his exercise pen and proceeded to bury the rawhide in his blanket.

Ever since I saw a ad on the magazine saying rawhide is made of some shoe material or etc, I avoid buying them.
Well, I don't know what you read, but rawhide is animal skin (most likely from cows). The only precaution I've ever heard of is that dogs can sometimes choke on a small piece, so you're always supposed to supervise. http://www.petfactory.com/faq.html

It's more that shoes are made of rawhide and not the other way around.
I guess I would rather choose bone over rawhide.
That is the cutest video! Love it!
